This week the Tour de Romandie takes place in Switzerland, a race where Enric Mas returns to competition after a month of training. The Spaniard leads Movistar in a conservative calendar ahead of the Tour de France and Vuelta a España double.
The team has fared very badly in terms of UCI points in the classics season that has just ended and now hopes to begin to turn its campaign around with the Mallorcan as a great hope. The two time-trials in Romandie do not help him, but in the high mountains he can contest for the victory and add more results to his tally.
Iván Sosa starts as his most reliable domestique in the mountains after his worthy Tour of the Alps. Rémi Cavagna will eye results in the time-trials whilst Alex Aranburu will be gearing up towards the spring stages. The lineup is completed by Jorge Arcas and Johan Jacobs who will mostly be riding in support of the previous riders.
