Cro Race: Alexander Kristoff wins stage 5 bunch sprint

The Cro Race saw a sprinter fest once again this Saturday, and Alexander Kristoff soared to his second stage win of the week.

The fifth stage of the Croatian race was a day for the sprinters and didn't have many difficulties. The stage was shortened due to bad weather, and here two riders went up the road including Tim Marsman and Jelle Johannink.

The moves were short lived and didn't have much traction, eventually all riders who gave it a shot were caught and the leadouts would start taking form. Uno-X Mobility had a super leadout, with numbers but also a lot of speed in the final kilometers and did the perfect job.

The Norwegian team did the perfect leadout and Alexander Kristoff soared to victory. He outsprinted Oded Kogut and Giovanni Lonardi for the stage win, with Brandon McNulty arriving safely in the peloton.
