Bahrain - Victorious announce diverse and strong lineup for Tour de France

Bahrain - Victorious have announced their team for the upcoming Tour de France, which includes a wide variety of ambitions, with several big hitters involved in one of the team's biggest goals of the season.

The general classification ambitions will be headlined by Damiano Caruso - second at last year's Giro - and Jack Haig - third at last year's Vuelta. With Gino Mäder's absence due to Covid-19, the duo will be lining up with high ambitions to contest another podium, supported by a team who will mostly be looking out for stage wins.

Dylan Teuns, who is departing from the team and will be looking for a third stage win in France, and Matej Mohoric will be chasing the exact same thing. Both will favour the hilly stages, aswell as Jan Tratnik - and the trio should occasionally play a supporting role for the team's GC ambitions.

Fred Wright will also eye the hilly stages, but comes as a possibility too for breakaways in the rolling days aswell as the cobbled stage, where he can also play a crucial supporting role for the team. The lineup is rounded by Luis Léon Sánchez and Kamil Gradek who will be the team's main weapons of protection.

Bahrain - Victorious for Tour de France: Damiano Caruso, Kamil Gradek, Jack Haig, Matej Mohoric, Luis Léon Sánchez, Dylan Teuns, Jan Tratnik and Fred Wright.
