Bad luck continues to haunt Wout van Aert - Belgian punctures and crashes at Gravel World Championships

Wout van Aert has not had the best of years when it comes to luck and that continues until his very last race day. The Belgian hoped to fight for the win at the Gravel World Championships, however several mishaps have already taken him out of contention.
Van Aert reportedly suffered a puncture early in the race, of which he managed to recover from. However, With around 100 kilometers to go van Aert crashed and was said to already be several minutes behind the front of the race which had exploded in the meantime.
