From July 1st onwards, Alpecin-Fenix will become Alpecin-Deceuninck as there will be a switch in the teams' sponsor alignment. This move coincides with the beginning of the Tour de France, and also suggests a slight increase in budget.
In a press conference this Monday, the announcement has been made from the team, confirming that whilst Deceuninck will become a title sponsors, Fenix will switch places to have a place in the team's equipment but will no longer be a title sponsor.

It has also been confirmed that the Belgian team has officially applied for a World Tour license for the three upcoming seasons. According to the last update, the team sits seventh in the UCI points ranking throughout the last three years and is in a comfortable position to become a World Tour team from 2023 onwards.
