Alberto Contador's emotional memory of deceased rider Arturo Grávalos: "He had an eternal smile and a great desire to live"

This week we had to give the sad news of the death after a long illness of the former EOLO-KOMETA rider Arturo Grávalos. One of the leaders of the Italian team, Alberto Contador, has recalled in Eurosport the figure of the late Spanish cyclist.

"Arturo, all of us who knew him remember the same thing: an eternal smile and a great desire to live, a 'I'm going to recover, I'm going to get better and we'll see each other on the road training'. We knew how serious it was and that it was a matter of days and that there was no solution. Davide Bais had dedicated the victory to Arturo and people missed it, and it was for Arturo Grávalos".
