Remco Evenepoel was quite upset yesterday after the team time-trial due to the abrupt change in weather conditions that harmed the team's result, however the current outlook on the overall classification is one that is favourable following the 32-second time gain on Primoz Roglic.
"It was pretty obvious that the last teams had worst weather conditions than the first teams but that's part of the sport, you have to be lucky with what nature gives you," Evenepoel told reporters this morning at the start of
Paris-Nice, in the microphone of Cyclingpro.net. "We didn't have luck on our side but we did a good time-trial, the numbers that everyone did were great so it shows that the team is on good form. We were just unlucky with the wet weather conditions, and also the wind [direction] changes."
