The Vuelta a Espana will face a tough challenge today. The rains that have marked the team time-trial have not stopped throughout the night and some roads around Barcelona are flooded today. This may lead to neutralizations or requests from the riders after yesterday's disaster.
Laura Meseguer, a Spanish journalist covering the Vuelta on the ground, has recorded a video where she drove by a section which the riders will pass through in their neutral start. Only 4 hours before the start of the stage, it is possible to see meaningful flooding.
