Poll. Stage 2 of the
Vuelta a Espana will immediately lead the riders into hilly terrain. After a brutal and chaotic opening team time-trial, the GC riders will already come to the front and a battle is expected on the Alto de Montjuic and Barcelona finale.
The hilly finale will be one where the GC contenders will be tested to the max certainly, but in a very explosive finale. Primoz Roglic and Remco Evenepoel will be the biggest contenders taking into consideration the uphill drag to the line where a sprint is possible. Some sprinters may be in the mix as well such as Bryan Coquard and Marijn van den Berg, but the profile makes it a stage open to many riders.
