Stage 2 of the 2023 Tour de l'Avenir was an incredibly chaotic day of racing throughout. Even in a frantic final sprint, there was much drama as two riders celebrated, thinking they were victorious.
With the finish line in sight, Poland's Radoslaw Fratczak lifted his arms in celebration, thinking he had taken a big victory in his young career. In a lesson for the young Pole to learn from however, Canada's Riley Pickrell made the most of his rival's early celebration by instead using the final few metres to power his way to the finish line and steal the win.
