hindsight is 20/20, but if only Visma put in another rider to be GC contender, Tadej can cover one rider no problem, but a 2 prong attack might have worked, instead of putting all eggs in one basket.

Visma made this tour a borefest, they only had Tadej living in their head rent free, so much investment and their KPI is as long we can finish ahead of Pog, not seeing the forest for the tree. Such a let down, Pog went back to basics, protect his lead, not going for side quests of chalking stage wins, the title race was neutralised after Jonas lost in the first moutain stage.

why did Jonas not try with Jorgensen at the valley after taking so much risk to bomb to the bottom? What is the point of waiting for his team after all that? and Matteo running away alone.. they look like strategising on the fly, they were better off stopping at one of the chapels to pray they win the yellow than actually trying to come up with a strategy.

what raid?? Jonas and Visma rode like they wanted to cement that runner's up position more than they were willing to try in their words " at any cost" to win. really a ball-less display, Why didn't they try a full out attack?even once. Jonas rode like he was a UAE team domestique
