Cycling is an extreme sport in which riders put their physical resistance to the maximum. In the Giro d'Italia we experienced an unpleasant episode when the cyclists refused to complete the stage with a final in Crans-Montana despite the fact that the weather conditions were not adverse at all.
In the end, after negotiating with the race, they managed to eliminate the Great Saint Bernard from the stage and take 80 km of the route despite the fact that what they initially asked for was to avoid the descent of the Croix de Coeur. It was a real embarrassment.
Curiously, while the Giro riders refused to race in the rain, we have seen many riders upload videos and photos on their social networks training at altitude. This is the case of Juan Ayuso, who was riding through the roads of the Sierra Nevada with the snow falling all around him. Can you or can't you ride in bad conditions?
