Italian cyclist Michael Guerra uses his knowledge of physics and aerodynamics to adopt a “plank” position and overtake his competitors.
Cycling is a sport in which physics matters a lot, from posture to gears, it can be a deciding factor between a win and a loss. Italian rider Michael Guerra perfectly displayed the combo of physics and aerodynamics and proved smart work is better than hard work.
He let science do the work for him while his competitors pedalled hard to reach the finish line as quickly as possible. Getting in such a position meant the cyclist was not generating any drag, and hence his bike just kept flowing like water.
He succeeded so well in his technique that Guerra even passed a man riding a scooter. Following in the footsteps of the cyclist, the man on the scooter tried to copy him. On social media, the video of the entire episode went viral, with people praising Guerra's intelligence.
