VIDEO: French Junior race sees shock twist as double-celebration turns into disaster

Cycling is often a sport that sees unexpected twists at the end of races or tight victories, however very rarely one as this. Over the weekend in a Junior race over in France two teammates celebrated an imminent win, but were in sight of the line overtaken by a sprinting rival.

This happened this Saturday at the Critérium de Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise where Simon Ruet took the victory. He indeed entered the finishing straight far behind the race leaders, but as the duo Rémi Arsac and Charly Merle of E.C St Ettiene - Loire celebrated what they thought was a certain win, they ended up surprised.
