Uno-X Pro Cycling Team have grown exponentially over the last few years, and although their chances are low, they have officially ran for candidate to World Tour team from 2023 to 2025.
The Norwegian team is known to be on the hunt for the top of the sport. Ever since their beginnings it has been an objective, and one made realistic based on their recent results. The structure has furthermore built successful women's and development teams, and carries a squad the size of a World Tour team, despite it's very evident focus in Norwegian and Danish riders, who have represented the team very well over the last few years.

With World Tour licenses being given every three years, it is not the ideal scenario for the team however, who is likely going to have to wait until the end of 2025 to apply for the spot once again. The UCI rankings have seen Alpecin-Deceuninck and Arkéa Samsic find themselves in position to promote to World Tour, and they have successfully made the application. The rankings mean that Lotto Soudal and Israel - Premier Tech at least would still be ahead when it came to order of decisions.
Hence, the Norwegian team can either hope a team disbands over the coming years and obtain their license, or, most likely, focus on the UCI points in order to find themselves in position to promote in three years. With the likes of the Johannessen twins, Rasmus Tiller and new three-year signing Alexander Kristoff however, alongside a large and motivated structure, the chances of success are meaningful.
