Marianne Vos has for many years been atop the Cyclocross world, and despite a reduced calendar, she has become World Champion once again in Fayetteville this past winter. She will finally be debuting her new rainbow jersey this coming week.
According to a report from Cyclingonline, the World Champion is set to return to the off-road on the 25th of October on the C2 Kiremko Nacht van Woerden race. Although a small race, it will be used as a springboard as Vos eyes the European Championships in Namur which are set to take place in the 5th of November.

The Dutch legend will face heavy competition, specially as more riders begin their season now towards the end of October, but will race close to home and with high expectations. After a busy and successful summer, in which she took stage wins at the Giro d'Italia Donne, Tour de France Femmes and the Tour of Scandinavia, the Dutch rider took some rest before focusing on her off-road goals.
