Tadej Pogacar donates over €30k to Slovenian flood victims

One of the most well-known and highly-regarded cyclists in the peloton today, Tadej Pogacar has continued to prove himself as a wonderful human being also by tripling his initial donation to Slovenian flood victims.

Having initially pledged to donate €10,000 to the cause, the 24-year-old came up with a novel way of increasing that amount of and giving a gift to his fanbase at the same time. For every photo and/or signature he would do at a session, Pogacar would add an extra €10 to the cause.

Spending over two hours taking pictures and signing autographs for fans in Ljubljana, Pogacar did a total of 1,793 autographs and took 1,214 selfies in what must have been an incredibly busy day for the Slovenian.

All that totalled up has seen Pogacar bump up his total donation to the grand total of €30,700, more than tripling his initial pledge. Chapeau Tadej!
