INEOS Grenadiers have notably operated with different strategies and tactics so far in 2025. One thing that is staying constant, however, is the presence of former world champion Michal Kwiatkowski in the team.
According to a report by the respected British cycling journalist Daniel Benson, the experienced Pole has signed a two-year contract extension with the British-based team. If true, that would extend Kwiatkowski's INEOS Grenadiers career until the end of the 2027 season, making it 11 years since his arrival from the Etixx - Quick Step for the start of the 2016 campaign.
Over the course of his career at Team Sky and the INEOS Grenadiers, Kwiatkowski has been a central part of Grand Tour winning teams and even taken a number of notable successes himself such as the Amstel Gold Race in 2022, Milano-Sanremo in 2017, the Tirreno-Adriatico GC in 2018, Strade Bianche in 2017, two stages of the Tour de France and numerous other wins.
With INEOS Grenadiers also making a concerted effort to develop a potential superstar of the future, Kwiatkowski's vast experience could be key in helping the likes of AJ August, Michael Leonard, Artem Schmidt and Joshua Tarling, ensuring a successful next generation for the team.
