Tadej Pogacar after his third consecutive win - "What are my limits? I don't know that myself"

UAE Emirates rider Tadej Pogacar's season is off to an impressive start, having already secured three wins, with his most recent victory coming in the second stage of Vuelta a Andalucía.

"Actually, we weren't even planning to get involved in the battle for the stage victory in the final," Pogacar told Lndeleiderstruiafter the race. He continues, “But it seemed that everyone wanted to be in the breakaway of the day, so it was full throttle all day."

Following Matej Mohoric's attempt at a solo attack, Pogacar countered and was able to thwart any subsequent attempts effectively. "On the penultimate climb I had to react to some other attempts, so suddenly I was in the front,I tried to parry all attacks, but the finish suited me perfectly. What are my limits? I don't know that myself, haha,” said Pogacar.

While he is not specifically targeting the third stage win, he suggests that he will not pass up any chances that present themselves. “We will take a relaxed approach again, but I don't know what will happen. What I can see is that everyone wants to race full throttle. We shouldn't waste too much energy, but we hope to keep the yellow,” concluded Pogacar.
