The sprinters will get three opportunities in Denmark and Fabio Jakobsen will try to score at least once for Soudal Quick-Step accompanied by home riders Michael Morkov and Casper Pedersen among others.
The recent bronze medallist from U23 World Championship road race Martin Svrcek will also make an appearance and might try to impress even further in the decisive stage 3 with finish in Velje while the likes of Josef Cerny will hunt a success in the final time trial.
"The parcours of this year’s edition isn’t that easy, with lots of narrow roads, which could complicate things, as well as some winds and rain. Fabio can rely on a strong lead-out train, while for the GC we have several riders which could be advantaged by the presence of the individual time trial as they’ll try to get a good result," explained Soudal Quick-Step sports director Tom Steels.
Soudal Quick-Step lineup for Tour of Denmark:
Fabio Jakobsen, Michael Morkov, Casper Pedersen, Josef Cerny, Mauri Vansevenant, Tim Declercq and Martin Svrcek
