Sure we do watch those day beautiful races or some riders finished the race very tired or others finished very fresh with a smile ,others win the TOUR easily anywhere look easy not suffering at all but we viewers enjoyed or seem almost impossible to ride so efficient, but they say new training ,new bike, new nutrition ect ect but 10 years later they discover taking such vitamins or supplements help them to go faster and longer then those supplement then will be ban but no worry the next generation will have have access to a better one as UAE team you cannot touched them to much money to silenced any bad comments .

We live in a time when amounts and percentages are oft repeated as gospel when said numbers cannot be verified. It gets me weary.

No mention of the whole of the french team doping though i see from a french rider. Richard Veronque why has he not been stripped of KOM jerseys .

I don't agree with Pineau-- ~95% of riders were doping back then, so Riis had to dope to compete on same level; same with Armstrong. Admitting he doped does not make him arrogant, it does make him an honest man.

The lack of contrituon for doping by Riis echoes the Armstrong statement saying "I would do it again".Once you convince yourself everyone is just like you which categorically is nonsense then why would you be contrite?Best thing you can do is ignore these cheats and focus on what hopefully are the cyclist who do things the right way.

It's always great when when someone from the break can hang on and take the win, especially when it's a in a pure sprinters race like this one. Congratulations to Rory Townsend on a very nice win, and for making things interesting.

No need to shame. Athletes anorexia is part of many endurance sports. Its not like being a top athlete in ANY sport is terribly healthy for you. But its a sacrifice many people make for greatness. Just like using PEDs
