Profile. This Wednesday, October 11, we will experience one of the last European races of the calendar with the arrival of the
Giro del Veneto, a classic of 170 kilometers starting in Tombolo and finishing in Monte Berico with an undulating course with several climbs of some entity in the final circuit of the course.
The race will start in Tombolo and will run along approximately 50 kilometers of initial flat terrain. However, the challenge will come when the cyclists will face the first difficulty of the day: the ascent of Teolo. Afterwards, they will head towards the picturesque region of the Berici Hills, where the race will reach its highest point in terms of difficulty.
As they progress, they will have to overcome the obstacles of the Villaga, Grancona and Brendola climbs. They will then enter the final circuit of Monte Berico, which covers 15 kilometers and will be repeated four times. This circuit is characterized by the steep climb to the sanctuary of the Madonna di Monte Berico, with one kilometer at 7.1% gradient and a maximum of 12%. This climb will be faced on five occasions in total and the finish line will be located on the last of them.
