PREVIEW | GP des Kantons Aargau 2024 - Thibau Nys, Michael Matthews and Marc Hirschi main favourites for hilly classic

Switzerland is set for an exciting series of races ahead, with one of the highlights being the one-day event: GP des Kantons Aargau. Scheduled for June 7th, this hilly race offers a platform for climbers and classics specialists to shine. Let's preview this upcoming race.
The 175-kilometer race starts and finishes in Leuggern and features two circuits. Initially, a small one around the town; before taking on the main one of the day. This one will feature a 7.1-kilometer climb at 3.7% (with a flat section in the middle ruining the average) and a small hilltop of 500 meters at 8%.
The riders will tackle seven laps of this hilly circuit consecutively, featuring also a slight downhill ramp to the finish line.
