I don't make a point of studying crashes specifically. However, I'm often surprised to see world tour riders with their weight in all the wrong places and even with a foot unclipped. I'm sceptical about ultra narrow handlebars too.

He isn't telling us anything we haven't always known. It was certainly obvious at the time to anyone who had ever raced a bike that he was doped. The only one who was more obvious than Riis was Floyd Landis.

Given the title of this publication, I think it would be difficult to stress more conclusively just how little you know or understand about bike racing.
