On the day he returned to the peloton, Peter Sagan has taken yet another win at the national championships, winning the Slovakian race.
Slovakia and the Czech Republic have the race together, and although Sagan did not cross the finish line first, the TotalEnergies rider did enough to take his home country for a second win of the season. In the Czech Republic it was Matej Zahalka who won after Elkov-Kasper dominated the race.
