Peter Sagan announces schedule for post-Tour de France calendar

Peter Sagan has regained his competitive edge at the Tour de Suisse just in time for the Tour de France, but with newly found ambitions, the former World champion is already thinking ahead and looking for quality results in the closing months of the season.

At the Tour de France he has revealed to Gazzetta dello Sport that after the Tour he will take some rest and will, like in the month of May, return to the USA for a stint at altitude. He will do so taking into consideration the late-season classics where he will be looking for further wins to his palmarès.

He will be racing the German BEMER Cyclassics and the Bretagne Classic in August, and will return to North America for the Canadian GP de Québec and the GP de Montreal which will be taking place for the first time since 2019.

He has in the past taken two wins in Québec and one in Montreal, whereas the others he will attempt to win for the first time.
