The 18th stage of the
Tour de France was yet another brutal day for the riders, as the final Pyrenean journey saw the race blown to bits from the first climb, and a relentless pace over the final two passes that saw
Jonas Vingegaard bury the GC fight as Jumbo-Visma dominated the competition.
The medical report had the following riders:

(114) Nils Eekhoff - Multiple road rash.
As for the fines, they were attributed to:
(151) Nairo Quintana - Back thrust on motorcycle. 200CHF fine. Penalty of 10 seconds, 4 points on points classification, 4 points on KOM classification.
Intermarché Wanty - Gobert Matériaux DS Steven De Neef - Non-compliance with marshals' instructions. 500CHF fine.
Movistar Team DS José Vicente Garcia - Non-compliance with marshals' instructions. 500CHF fine.
Cofidis DS Alain Deloeuil - Poor positioning of assistants during regueling. 200CHF fine.
(3) Mikkel Bjerg - Incorrect behaviour (insults towards commissaires). 200CHF fine, penalty of 10 UCI points.
