Movistar Team have confirmed their lineup for the new race in Spain which is set to take place from the 24th to 27th of February in Galicia. Despite being new on the calendar,
Gran Camiño is already set to take in a strong list of teams and riders which will be battling throughout four days of intense racing.
The race is set ot have an opening stage for the sprinters in which the likes of Magnus Cort Nielsen, Giovanni Lonardi and Filippo Fiorelli will be targeting, but it's the hilly terrain that will set the tone of the race. The second day follows a rather flat stage but a summit finish on the iconic Mirador de Ézaro, whilst the third and queen stage features a very hard finale with multiple steep ascents, where the finale is then placed in Luintra. The likes of
Alejandro Valverde,
Iván Sosa and
Antonio Pedrero will be between the big favourites for the overall classification, as the Spanish veteran returns to competition after having to
isolate due to a Covid outbreak in the team.
