With only three editions, the Clásica Jaén Paraíso Interior has managed to consolidate itself as one of the most prestigious international cycling events, positioning itself as one of the most outstanding "appetizers" of the spring season. This competition is distinguished by its unique character, thanks to the picturesque olive tree trails it crosses between the towns of Baeza and Úbeda. Movistar Team presents a more than competitive team with Oier Lazkano and Iván García Cortina as it's leaders.
The 162-kilometer route challenges cyclists with twelve off-road sectors, characterized by demanding climbs and a couple of descents that add to the excitement of the race. Among the most outstanding sections are the Virgen de la Salud section, 5.7 km long, and the Soledades section, 6 km long, the latter culminating just 2700 meters from the finish line.
