  Yes, MVDP chose the wrong tactics in Hornersight, maybe too influenced by the unrealised expectations IDT & Seixas would blow up the race in climbs making him think an early attack was the best defence. Would have been interesting to see how it would have played out had he kept his powder for the last hour.

The last time I felt such excitement was at the finish in Chambéry, watching LeMond pull off the "double" ahead of Konychev and Kelly. 2027 UAE campaign promises to be an interesting one, as we will see the World Champion performing domestique duties for the Slovenian.

  He lit the race with 80 km to go. Still managed bronze after repeated accelerations that left others in the dust. Such an entertaining rider to watch. Congrats to BN on a perfectly timed attack to win the gold.

  Hey you all... just imagine Pogi being in Montreal. So many could have won yesterday and that just goes to show how leveled up cyclists are, at least the first 20 or so. But Pogi is in a completely different level, not one but two levels above. So yes, we saw a very good and interesting race... but if Pogi was there, it wouldn't be so heart throbbing, but we would be watching greatness... THE G.O.A.T. .... Not just the best cyclist of all time, but the best athlete of all time... THE GOAT of Goats!!! Ad acta!!!
