With Movistar entering Paris-Roubaix without an out-and-out contender for the win, Iván García Cortina will lead a Spanish team hoping to pull off a surprise on the French cobbles.
Alongside the 27-year-old former Paris-Nice stage winner will be Oier Lazkano. The 23-year-old Lazkano had arguably the most impressive result of his career to date recently at Dwars door Vlaanderen where he finished runner-up to the eventual winner Christophe Laporte. As such, the young Spaniard enters Paris-Roubaix with proven good legs.

A notably omission from the Movistar Team for Paris-Roubaix is the in-form American, Matteo Jorgenson. The recent Tour of Oman general classification has had top 10 placings at each of Paris-Nice, the E3 Saxo Classic and the Tour of Flanders.
