VIDEO: Mikel Landa's brutal attack that ignited stage 2 of Itzulia Basque Country

Stage two of the Itzulia Basque Country was a brilliantly entertaining days racing. With the general classification battle beginning to get underway, Bahrain - Victorious's Mikel Landa launched a brutal attack.

Although the 33-year-old Spaniard wouldn't be able to stay away for the remainder of the stage, Landa's attack was rewarded by him winning the intermediate sprint and gaining himself some valuable bonus seconds that could prove vital in the grand scheme of things come the end of the Itzulia Basque Country on the 8th of April.

Stage 3 will again be another day full of climbing with Landa and fellow general classification competitors such as Jonas Vingegaard and David Gaudu expected to take part in what could be an explosive battle and another exciting day of action.
