Miles Scotson will follow Arnaud Démare in 2024 to Arkéa-B&B Hotels, as Arkéa-Samsic will be called from next year. The 29-year old Australian, who raced for Groupama-FDJ since 2019, has signed a two-year deal with the French WorldTeam. In recent years, Scotson has been part of Démare's sprint train and that is supposed to be his role also in the new team.
"Arnaud and I know each other very well after a few seasons, we are well attuned to each other in the sprint," says Scotson in a response at the Arkéa-Samsic site. "We have been riding together for five years. I wanted to join his new team. I want to thank Arkéa-B&B Hotels for the trust and the team manager for allowing me to continue working with Arnaud as a lead-out. Our goals for the next two years will be to keep winning big races: stages in the Tour de France, Paris-Nice and one-day classics."
