Mads Pedersen will be Denmark's designated leader for European Championships

On September 24, the Danish national team will try to help Mads Pedersen win the European Championships in Drenthe, when the elite men will compete over 199.8 kilometers.

"We are fielding a really sharp team for a relatively flat route. The team is built to support Mads as best as possible," explains national coach Anders Lund in a press release.

"He is currently the best Danish rider in a sprint, but for Mads it is only an advantage that the Col du VAM contributes to it not being a sprint with fresh legs."

Denmark lineup for European Championships:
Mads Pedersen, Casper Pedersen, Andreas Kron, Michael Mørkøv, Mikkel Bjerg (also ITT), Mathias Norsgaard, Johan Price Pejtersen (only ITT), Christopher Juul-Jensen and Tobias Lund Andresen
