The first monument of 2024 is almost upon us and leading the charge for Lidl-Trek will be one of the dark horses for victory, Mads Pedersen.
Pedersen is one of the few riders to be viewed as a viable contender to the likes of Mathieu van der Poel and Tadej Pogacar. The 28-year-old former world champion has been in electric form to start the season, adding six victories to his palmares and a pair of GC triumphs at Tour de la Provence and Etoile de Bessèges.

Pedersen won't be alone though of course and in Jonathan Milan, Lidl-Trek have a second potential challenger, especially after the Italian's impressive form of late that has seen him take a pair of stage wins at Tirreno-Adriatico and the points jersey at that race. Completing a strong team, Tim Declercq, Ryan Gibbons, Alex Kirsch, Toms Skujins and Jasper Stuyven.
Lidl-Trek for Milano-Sanremo 2024:
Mads Pedersen, Jonathan Milan, Tim Declercq, Ryan Gibbons, Alex Kirsch, Toms Skujins and Jasper Stuyven.
