- Tadej just may retire within the next 6 months
- Not in every sport. Didn’t we have a little scandal with the Belgian riders in the last year or two regarding those who don’t ride? Wasn’t there something about the federation and licenses riders need? Too busy setting a trap for a client trying not to pay to search for it or get back to unfinished business but I’ll be back soon.
- Alessio is one of those riders who very well could be the next big thing with sprinting, after Paul Magnier and Matthew Brennan have become elite winning machines and Jonothan Milan before them.
His rapid rise also isn't too great for Davide Donati, who may be seeing a possible promotion dissappear as a result of his 2-years-younger compatriot
- No he won't.
- What if the concussion lingers for months? Certainly hope not, but then they'd need to rethink.
- Just a point to mention. Temperatures in Central Spain, especially Seville and Córdoba are in the high 30's low 40's every summer. It's been normal for much longer than my 35 years here. But it's a dry heat, hot but not humid. You should not misinterpret temperature with unbearable conditions. I was in Carnaby Street London in 1999 when there was a solar eclipse. The temperature was 28°C. I was sweating buckets, and seriously struggling for air. Different locations, different climates, different circumstances.
- I'm not criticizing the riders, but the best part of stage 15 Vuelta should have been the 2 climbs around Villaviciosa de Córdoba and the pueblo. It was going to be much hotter in the start and finish stages especially Córdoba city. Seriously if there was a genuine concern about the forecasted temperature ( before a rest day) then the stage should have been canceled. I watched the race in Santa Maria de Trassierra and the riders never looked distressed at all. My whole point AGAIN is the stage continued NOT because of the health of the riders BUT BROADCASTING REVENUE ! Sean Kelly stated on TNT that in his day there were no cancelations due to temperature. The temperatures in Andalusia have remained pretty much the same in the 35 years I've lived here. So WHY is it suddenly a problem ?? If it really is change the time of year. Its freezing in the winter.
- Mas has never shown he is good in a TT. Roglic does have past form in that discipline. Mas is hot and he is a Spaniard in his home race, so he could surprise us. Is Roglic likely to make up the 2 minutes + he is behind? A minute at best perhaps? This TT is going to be intersting.
- You are overreacting to a light hearted comment on fines collection and how silly the UCI are over some of the stuff they do with fines. Daft Sock height rules and one size fits all saddle positioning and more Did none of you guys not get that before jumping on your soap boxes? Lighten up!
