The vast number of Lotte Kopecky successes over recent years will be celebrated as the recently crowned road race World Champion has been given a fanday in Flanders.
Organised in collaboration with team sponsor SD Worx, Cycling Vlaanderen and the Flemish Cycling School, Kopecky will ride alongside school children before an on-stage presentation. “With the initiative, the three parties and Lotte Kopecky hope to inspire young girls to also start cycling. Because a higher intake ensures sustainable growth of women's cycling in the long term," says Team SD Worx in an official announcement.
The fanday will take place in Ghent on the 30th September and will be free for all those who wish to attend and Kopecky in person!
On 30 Sep (14-17H), the Lotte Kopecky fanday takes place in Ghent. Starting w/ a children's peloton from Blaarmeersen to Kouterplein. There, the event continues w/ an agility course, meet & greets... Our team truck will be also there to visit. Entry is free! 📸 @sigfrid_eggers
