The British national championships have begun today and we have had some big results right out the gate. In the individual time-trials, Joshua Tarling and Anna Henderson have taken the victories against the clock in convincing fashion.
In the men's event there was one clear favourite for the 30-kilometer course in Catterick and it was Joshua Tarling. The 20-year old was already the reigning champion and it was not too hard for the INEOS Grenadiers rider to bring another victory for the team. He beat Astana's Max Walker by 1:14 minutes whilst Ethan Vernon was the third best on the day, 1:24 down on the winner.

- his Roubaix win was amazing. not to take anything away from him - arguably one of MVDP's wins was at the expense of a WVA flat - but so many things need to line up to get one of these. - A mindset that reminds me of Tim Declerq. I loved watching that guy just pound away the kilometers, hours at the front, holding an entire breakaway in check on his own. Bjerg seems like a similar guy. Curling, the team sport.RidesHills04-11-2026
