Ivar Slik and Sofia Gomez win Unbound Gravel 200

With the presence of Peter Sagan and other American pros, aswell as several ex-pros on the road, the American Unbound Gravel race took place yesterday in pan-flat Kandas, USA. From it emerged Ivar Slik and Sofia Gomez as the winners.

Slik, a veteran in the Dutch continental field, left road racing this year whilst with ABLOC CT and turned to a different discipline, having taken the win in one of it's most prestigious events after 320 kilometers of racing. Slik finished in a time of 9:22:04 and was the fastest out of a four man sprint, where Keegan Swenson and Ian Boswell completed the podium.

In the Women's race, it was Sofia Gomez Villafañe who took the win after over 10 hours and 27 minutes on the bike, beating Lauren De Crescenzo and Emily Newsom who rode onto the podium.
