"It's chaos on my bus seat right now!" - Tadej Pogacar goes for all pink in third outfit change since taking control of Maglia Rosa

After the controversy surrounding his purple shorts on stage 3, Tadej Pogacar opted for a black design on stage 4. On this Wednesday afternoon's stage 5 however, Pogacar has fully embraced the Maglia Rosa of the Giro d'Italia with pink shorts.

"It's chaos on my bus seat right now!" Pogacar laughs jovially in a pre-stage 5 interview with Eurosport, referencing his many different clothing looks over the past few days. Whether the all-pink 'Peppa Pog' look as it's been named on social media, is here to stay though, remains to be seen.

Having taken the Maglia Rosa so early on in the race though, there has been some talk that the continued post-race commitments of race leader could begin to weigh heavily on the UAE Team Emirates leader over the coming weeks. Somewhat understandably though, Pogacar himself disagrees. "I'm used to it," he insists. "From year to year, wearing the White Jersey or Yellow Jersey at the Tour de France all the time and it's always the same. Sometimes I need to skip a massage or have a fast meal but that's how it is."
