Paris-Nice is set to take place from March 5th to March 12th, and Groupama-FDJ has made clear their goal of competing for victory with David Gaudu.
In the presentation on Thursday, Marc Madiot, general manager of the French team, explained the ambitions of his team. "It's an interesting and appetizing course. We already have a small idea of who will be at the start in the team,” he told Cyclism'Actu.
He continues, “David Gaudu, Arnaud Démare, Stefan Küng... the team is interested in the team time trial because it is a good barometer for the progression of a team. We hope for a good time trial, a top 5 overall and a stage win, so we are very ambitious.”
That being said, achieving success won't be a straightforward task. Along with Romain Bardet, Simon Yates and Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard will also be present at the start line.
