Former teammate of Peter Sagan provisionally suspended on doping charges

A doping case is once again a topic of discussion within the peloton and this time it's a former teammate of Peter Sagan at the Pierre Baguette Cycling Team, 20-year-old Czech prospect, Daniel Vysocan.

Vysocan had raced against some big names this year at races such as the Tour de Hongrie, the Tour of Slovenia, the Czech Tour and the Tour de l'Avenir with his list of results including a 16th finish in the general classification at the Tour de l’Avenir and a 42nd overall finish at the Tour of Slovenia.

According to the UCI, Vysocan returned his positive test for CERA on September 25th, two days before competing in the road race of the U23 World Championships in Zurich, a race in which he did not finish. As of the time of writing, there is no comment from the Pierre Baguette Cycling Team on the matter.
