"This year it became a bit more difficult because
Red Bull entered cycling. Now that cycling is really going to be a priority for
Red Bull in the coming years, combining with Visma will be more difficult. With
pain in my heart I will leave the Dutch team."
Red Bull had a good first year in the sport, thanks to
Primoz Roglic winning the Vuelta for the fourth time in September. But next
year, they’ll want more,
especially at the Tour de France. And Jeukendrup is
looking forward to the task. "I will be fulfilling two functions," he
said. “The first role is head of nutrition and the other is more strategic. I
will also take on management tasks."
