This morning at it's team presentation,
Soudal - Quick-Step have revealed the early-season and spring calendar of European Champion
Fabio Jakobsen who will start his season soon at the
Vuelta a San Juan.
In South America there will be between five and six expected sprint stages and the Dutchman will be looking to start his season on the right foot there. Jakobsen will then move to Europe for a calendar that is similar to this season's, beginning with the
Volta ao Algarve on the 15th of February before his participation at
Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne.
Meaningfully, he will likely be absent from both Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico, where this season illnesses spread around the peloton at an immense speed. He will return to competition at the
Classic Brugge-De Panne which will favour the fast men, and Gent-Wevelgem later on where he will also stand a chance of success if he can handle the cobbles.
