- Yip, not many if any of todays top riders win track races like Eddy Merckx used to.
- Really, do the viewer numbers reflect that then? Appeal is a very complicated thing to define, like taste.
Crap burgers and coke appeal to a good number of people.
- Unfortunately every grand tour, bar last years Giro, has been the same for the past few years. Cyclings grand tours appeal has dipped due to the dominance of Pogacar.
- Really good comment re where Vin is compared to his rivals for the upcoming TDF. The Giro and no disrespect intended has not been up to usual standard with little opposition to Vin after quite a few rivals left after stage 2. It has been missing the excitement of a grsnd tour . You have worked out result before stage finished in the mountains .Vin has only been racing against older riders passed their prine or 2nd tier riders whilst others being kept back for the TDF .
- Come on really it is like saying if you own Amazon you would pay yourself minimum wages. He is paid well as he gets results. Maybe as a manager you should work harder at getting better sponsors. Never heard anything so stupid and bitter for a long time. If that happened the sponsors would drop out from the sport in droves. People like the panache and does Ronaldo need to go on minimum wage as well🤣🤣🤣🤣. Yes i am domestic riding in minimum wage for Pog knowing he is on 10 million. Do your job as a manager instead of whining about other teams.
- Mou(se) in the house! YAWN !
- Your obsession with licking and bars is quite disconcerting but to each their own I guess.
- Werent the the two trekies talking to each other ? Well done Sepp and especially Jai Hindley ,hopefully he holds onto the podium.
- "it was a thing for GC riders due to bonifications, I had nothing to do with that" -- non-denial.
- Even at the best of times, Ciccone rides with a red mist before his eyes. He brings an unfiltered Italian passion to the Giro, and regardless of the debate surrounding the decision not to assist Gee, he has fought his way into the Maglia Azzurra.
We love him for his quintessential Italian passion, and I genuinely wouldn’t want him any other way. He is one of the personalities that sparks a stage, and we, as fans, soak it all up.
