Ethan Hayter, Luke Plapp and Geraint Thomas headline win-oriented INEOS Grenadiers at Tour Down Under

INEOS Grenadiers are starting off their season in Australia in search of big wins. After his storming success at the national championships, Luke Plapp will be among a strong lineup for the British team which also includes Ethan Hayter and Geraint Thomas.
Plapp is now a two-time national champion and is coming in with good form towards the race. The lineup of INEOS is very diverse and with immense depth with the Australian being only one weapon. Traditionally with calmer starts to the season, but Tour de France podium finisher Geraint Thomas will also be an important figure.
Ethan Hayter comes in as a very strong contender for the GC aswell, having very strong time-trialing skills and perfect attributes to climb and sprint towards bonus seconds throughout the race. His brother Leo Hayter will be making his debut with the British team in Australia.
American youngster Magnus Sheffield should also be a big fan of the hilly terrain which will be on display. The team is complete by Ben Swift and Kim Heiduk who will be providing support.

I don’t think anyone knows what was promised but he accepted a pay reduction and could easily have continued at Jayco. - There are a lot of desperate nobodies out there who can’t keep the satisfaction of an encounter in their private circle but hope to be in the spotlight for 15s by association. I guess you’re thinking of this Artem guy but at least he’s kind of known by riders and probably asks? This is only the beginning though, soon there will be tour guides taking groups along the training routes in the hope of encountering someone, a mix of the Hollywood home tours and safaris. - Your logic holds at best during a race and even then, public is supposed to leave riders space and alone, hence authorities who move crowds for riders even at the busiest of climbs. You seem to have an almost perverse sense of intimacy celebrities should allow the public in the name of ENTERTAINMENT.
