Dylan Groenewegen criticizes Criterium du Dauphiné relegation: Sorry UCI for using my brakes

Dylan Groenewegen was relegated from today's stage of the Criterium du Dauphiné, the only one of eight days the Team Jayco AlUla rider could target. He was unhappy with the situation and has taken to social media to display his unsatisfaction.

"Sorry UCI Cycling for using my brakes," read a tweet from the Dutchman. Whilst Bennett was relegated for moving lines abruptly mid-sprint blocking Groenewegen, he himself was relegated for shouldering Matevz Govekar who miraculously managed to stay upring within the sprint. Both pure sprinters lost their result at the finish, giving way for Matteo Trentin and Milan Menten to finish on the podium alongside stage winner Christophe Laporte.
