The
Tour de l'Avenir is nearing it's grand finale, and on the penultimate day of racing
Cian Uijtdebroeks has put another blow to the competition, winning the eighth stage and jumping to the yellow jersey.
Although the Belgian has provisionally turned into the race's new leader yesterday, an unauthorized late bidon cost him some seconds that saw Michel Hessmann keep the lead. The German struggled however today, loosing valuable time as Uijtdebroeks took the win in front of
Archie Ryan who had a big lead over the rest of the competition.
Johannes Staune-Mittet completed the podium.
