- This race screams top climbers only. After Pogi takes off on a 10km + breakaway win, watch the fireworks in the rest of the Pelton fight it out. At times, it's better than the smackdown Pogi is putting on
- It turns out Jonas was quite sick in last years Vuelta. Had they not shortened some of those stages due to the protesters I don't believe he would have won. Regardless, Jonas is very strong this year and I expect him to give Tadej a good fight but I think he comes up short, he's almost thirty and roughly two years older than Tadej, time catches up to us all.
- Jonas beating Pogi at the tour... Unless illness or injury, NO. Pogi is holding back when we saw him last as well. So, ahh no, he isn't going to beat Pogi
- I know Jonas has been racing with renewed confidence, some of which he lost after that 2024 crash. He looks really good but I see Tadej being ahead of him. I think this Tour is going to be fairly close though if they get through it without crashing or getting sick. Everyone else is racing for third.
- Ughhhh stuck with Peacock and their third rate commentators !
- Only a matter of time before he forgets it and starts arguing with himself ;-)
if only to settle who’s the biggest fanboy.
- I haven’t heard much of his form LATELY.
The Vuelta was a second tour after a 1st ridden to the limit, the Giro was completely different.
What the Vin camp was trying to accomplish was using the Giro as prep for the Tour, completely different situation than doing a second tour after being in the red.
The difference between the two has never been more than a handful of minutes over 80 hours, it doesn’t take much to cover that, heck, I have more variation in my routine 30k rides.
- let's hope not, and it is pretty close so I really would love to see them both healthy and at full strength
- I wonder how far Remco will fall, not racing until the Tour is not a good plan. You needs race kilometers in the legs before the Tour.
- now mou starts to talk with himself in the forum ...
