Chris Froome to test himself against weak field of Chinese 2.Pro race Tour of Hainan

Chris Froome was most recently in action in the Czech Tour, where he retired from the race on the final fourth stage, and after two months without a race, he is now starting the Tour of Hainan.
The four-time Tour de France winner has struggled since his crash on his reconnaissance for the single start of the 2019 edition of the Critérium du Dauphiné and has been winless since 2018 when he won the Giro d'Italia.
In the Tour of Hainan, Froome gets the opportunity to test himself in a weak field, where Israel - Premier Tech is one of the few professional teams that will start.
In the race he will be joined by Sebastian Berwick, Itamar Einhorn, Omer Goldstein, Ben Hermans, Mason Hollyman and Taj Jones.
